Hey! I’m Ayo

TL;DR: Product Designer and no-code developer with 4+ years of experience. I design it, then build it myself, no handoff, no waiting, just a faster path to something that actually converts. Currently Senior UX Designer at TalentLo, taking select freelance projects on the side.

I'm Ayotunde. Most people call me Ayo.

I'm a Product Designer and no-code developer, and for the last 4+ years I've done both, on purpose. Most designers hand off a Figma file and wait. I don't. I design it, then I build it myself, so it ships faster and nothing gets lost in translation.

I studied Mathematics at FUNAAB, which sounds unrelated until you realize good design is really just solving for the right variables, users, business goals, constraints, and getting them to balance.

I've designed and built for a freelance marketplace, a CRM platform, and a handful of founders moving fast. Right now I'm a Senior UX Designer at TalentLo, and I take on select freelance projects alongside it.

Approach

I start with the outcome, not the interface. Before I open Figma, I want to know what "working" looks like for your business, more signups, fewer drop-offs, a launch that doesn't embarrass you.

From there I design the smallest version that gets you there, test it against real users where I can, and build it myself in Webflow, Framer, or code so it's live, not just approved in a design review.

I'd rather ship something real this week than present something perfect next month.

Philosophy

Pretty doesn't pay. Conversion does.

I'm not chasing design trends or portfolio-bait visuals. I'm chasing the version of your product that makes people stay, act, and come back. If a trend serves that, I'll use it. If it doesn't, I'll skip it, no matter how popular it is on Dribbble this week.

Every project gets the same standard, whether it's a $500 landing page or a full platform redesign, because your users can't tell what your budget was. They can only tell whether it works.

Track Record

  • 40% fewer UI inconsistencies shipped at TalentLo

  • 22% lower checkout drop-off through redesigned user flows

  • 18% higher onboarding completion from research-led design

  • 30% jump in team efficiency from a rebuilt CRM dashboard

  • 5,000+ people following the work across LinkedIn, Behance, X, and Dribbble

Outside of Design

When I'm not designing or building, I'm behind a camera. Photography taught me to look for the one detail that makes a frame work, which is basically the same instinct I use to find the one friction point that's costing a product its users.

I also enjoy playing EA SPORTS FC … hahaha
